Porcelain tile over flat 2x6 t&g floor decking | The Floor ...
No tile underlayment that I'm familiar with is going to allow you to go straight over 2x6's. This would be my suggestion: Use 3/8" ply, then add Schluter Ditra, then your tile. You didn't mention the thickness of your tile, but the ply and Ditra would add 1/2", which would put you about 1/4" above your existing subfloor/Hardi installation.

2x6 or 5/4 for deck boards? | Green Tractor Talk
My front deck (480 sq) has 2x6 decking and the rear deck (300 sq) has 5/4 decking, both 16" on center. You will get most of any bounce on a deck from the span/size of the joists, not the decking, so one up your joists for a sturdy deck. Quality wise, I prefer the 5/4 decking. It doesn't seem to check as easily as the 2x.

Help! 2x6 T&G Flooring 4' O.C. - Fine Homebuilding
I have a couple of customers with houses built with 2x6 car decking floors. There is no way to make it perfectly tight but if you use straight, well-milled material it should be possible to get a very nice job. I would probably toe-screw it with #8 x 3 screws.
